when i was making my burlap table runner i cut some extra burlap to wrap a few hurricanes/glass cylinders i had sitting around the house. i followed maya's tutorial for the burlap flowers and i love the results. they were simple and inexpensive to make. add a scented candle and you have a hostess/teacher/friend gift instantly. in the summer, i see adding some daisies and sunflowers to these holders. if you have a larger dining table, you could add these to my burlap runner decor.
